Obituary

Loletta Ann Purdy passed away April 21, 2014 at the age of 70. Loletta was born January 17, 1943 in Spokane, Washington to Robert & Lillian Meyer. She was married to Leo Purdy for more than 54 years until his passing in October of last year. Loletta loved to dance. In fact, she loved to “Boogie”, as she would often say. She was fun loving and playful, often taking her three kids to the drive-in movies or teaching them how to dance. She even taught her son Steven to waltz, which he can still do today, thanks to mom. She is survived by; her three loving children, Kelly, Patricia and Steven; grandchildren, Michael, Bobby, Quincy, Brian, Tony, Elizabeth, Alex, Ayla, Kirstie, Summer, Willow and Hailey; great-grandchildren, Kaitlyn, Claudia, Madison, Nathan, Lexee, Megan, Amanda, Hailea, Kynlee, Preston, Sky, Gannon, Nadine and Xadrian. She is also survived by her brother, Robert Meyer and wife Da, sister-in-law Virginia Meyer; and Brothers-in-law, Frank Purdy and wife Sally and Bill Purdy and wife Marie; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and other loving family. She was preceded in death by her loving husband Leo; her parents, a brother, Paul Meyer and a great-grandson, Skylar. Viewing will be held on Thursday from 9am till 8pm. Funeral Services will be held 11:00 am Friday at the Butler-Stumpff Funeral Home Chapel with interment to follow at Memorial Park Cemetery.
