Obituary

Lonnie Nichols, of Tulsa, Oklahoma, was born on December 1, 1977, in Marietta, Arkansas, to Arlester and Pearlie Victoria Nichols. He departed this life on October 2, 2025, at the age of 47.

Lonnie was a proud and passionate Dallas Cowboys fan and a loyal supporter of the Miami Hurricanes. He enjoyed life’s simple pleasures — especially starting each morning with a hot cup of coffee and spending time with his family and friends. His laughter, loyalty, and love for those around him will be remembered by all who knew him.

He was preceded in death by his beloved mother, Pearlie Victoria Nichols, and his son, D’Marion Raymond Brown.

Lonnie leaves to cherish his memory his devoted father, Arlester Nichols; his loving wife, Laticia Nichols; his children, Talia Brown-Nichols and Devon Brown-Nichols; his sisters, Sandra Nichols and Carolyn McKenzie; his brothers, Arlester Jr., Anthony Nichols, Clifton Nichols, and Sheldrick McDowell of Forrest City, Arkansas; his cherished nieces and nephews; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends who will miss him dearly.

Lonnie’s presence brought joy and strength to everyone around him, and though he is no longer with us, his spirit and love will live on forever in the hearts of those he touched.
