Obituary

 

Laura “Lucille” Johnson, age 98, passed away peacefully on January 23, 2020 at her home in Tulsa. She was born on October 30, 1921 in Perryton, Texas to Bill Bryant and Mima Smith.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Floyd “Norman” Johnson, brother, Robert “Bobby” Kuns, daughter, Nelda Jean MacCloud, and son, Doug Ferguson.

Lucille worked most of her life as a glamorous beauty operator, founding her beloved business, Lucille’s Dermacare, and touching the lives of every person who walked through the door. Lucille truly lived her life to the fullest, leaving her mark, some Kleenex, and a little lipstick, wherever she went.

Left to cherish her memory is her son, Jay Eugene Barnett, daughter, Verna “Charlene” Evans, grandchildren: Candee Branz, Brandee Crawford, Joey Barnett, and Laura Barnett; and 14 great grandchildren.

Family and friends whose lives Lucille touched are invited to celebrate her life with us on Tuesday, January 28, with a graveside ceremony at Rolling Oaks Memorial Garden followed immediately by a reception at The Club Room -Stanley’s Funeral Home.

    Traci and I had gone to her for a long time. After they were through with our facials we would always sit and talk to her. She was the most giving and friendly lady. She always had wonderful stories for us. We loved our time with them. She will be missed by so many
