Obituary

Lynda Marie (Evans) Fellrath was born in Rogers, Arkansas on March 2, 1941 and died peacefully at her home in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma on February 6, 2025. Lynda grew up in Tulsa, eventually meeting and marrying Richard Zito, who was in the Navy. They lived briefly in Hawaii where Richard was stationed, then the family moved to New York, where Lynda was a homemaker, raising three boys. After a divorce from Richard, Lynda married George Fellrath in 1977. Widowed in 1979, she decided to return to her roots and moved with her three sons back to Tulsa, becoming a medical assistant.

After she left her career, she moved in with her mother, Arzella, to care for her. After being injured in an accidental fall, she moved in with her son John and his wife Amy, where she lived for 21 years.

Lynda enjoyed bible study with her friends at Broken Arrow Connect Church, and fellowship and worship at her home church, Sand Springs Church of the Nazarene. She made many friends at Broken Arrow Senior Citizens Center, enjoying making bracelets and jewelry, but became passionate about designing and making cards. She enjoyed showing her cards to John in the evenings after he was home from work. Anyone who received a card from her knew it was a special thing, designed and produced especially for them.

Lynda was preceded in death by her parents, Earl and Arzella Evans, Husbands, Richard Zito and George Fellrath, her brother Doyle Evans, and son Richard Zito, Jr.

She is survived by her sons: John Zito (Amy), James Zito (Gabrielle Contreras); her grandchildren, Ashley and Cody Deese, Vincent and Vanessa Zito, Brittney and Remi Rosales, Gracee Zito, J.J. Zito, Stephanie and Skyler Ishmael, and Richard and Nicholette Brosseau. Along with 12 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great grandchild.
