Obituary

Margaret Anne Beckett passed away in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma at age 93. She was born to Frank and Margaret Weiss on April, 9, 1922 in New York, New York. Marge was the first generation born in the U.S. to German parents. She grew up in New York City but spent most of her lifer as an “Okie”. She worked for I.T.T Snyder as an office manager and inside sales and retired after 30 plus years. She enjoyed watching baseball and basketball but the joy in her life was her two granddaughters. She live a long full life before succumbing to lung cancer.She is preceded in death by her husband Vernon Beckett; mother: Margaret Birong Weiss; father: Frank Weiss and brother-in-law: George Kuck.Marge is survived by her daughter: Lori (Nathan) Zuckerman; granddaughters: Jennifer and Dianne Zukerman; sister: Elise Kuck; nephews: Bob (Margi) Kuck, Gary (Elise) Kuck; niece: Linda (Mike) Casey; seven great nieces and nephews; six great great nieces and nephews; her “adopted” daughter: Christine Osbourne and her special neighbor and care giver, Dana McKinzie. In lieu of flowers the family asks memorial donations be made to the American Cancer Society in Margaret’s name.
