Obituary

Marie was born Southern and Northern Cheyenne and is an enrolled member of the Cheyenne and Arapaho tribes of Oklahoma. She grew up in Hammon, Oklahoma. She was fluent in Cheyenne language. Marie will be remembered as a great mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.

Marie was preceded in death by her loving husband of 41 years, Chief Randolph G. Goss, mother, Clara Russell; father, Walter Ridgebear; brothers: Steven and Leonard; sisters: Paula, Freda, and Veda.

Those left to cherish Marie’s memory include her only surviving sister, Pauline Goss, of Tulsa, Marlo and Husband David Pierce of Tulsa, Sarah and husband John Farris Arkeketa of Tulsa, Valerie and husband Nabor Torres of Tulsa, her only son: Flying Coyote Goss and companion Catrina Daniels of Tulsa, daughter Randa Goss of Tulsa; 12 grandchildren, and 7 great-grandchildren.
