Obituary
Marissa Eness Marquez, 16, of Catoosa, Oklahoma passed away Saturday, August 23, 2014 in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Marissa was born in Tulsa on August 6, 1998 to Alejandro and Camilla (Speer) Marquez. Marissa was a true little fashionista queen, she loved to dress up, fix up her hair and put her makeup on for just about any occasion. She loved listening to music, spending time with her cousins and friends, spending time with her boyfriend Omar Vazquez, and spending quality time with her loving family. She went to Catoosa High School and was a Honor student and sang in the choir. She wanted to go to college. She loved singing, shopping, hanging out with her friends and family and taking pictures. She has been dating Omar for 2 years and loved him very much. She was an active member at Tulsa Spoken Word Tabernacle, a church she loved and felt loved in. But most of all she enjoyed the special time she shared bonding with her mom, Camilla. Marissa loves animals! She had 3 cats whom she adored Boo, Tigs and Rigsby. She also love Llamas! She always cracked up at the funny faces they make. Her favorite band was Maroon 5 and her favorite TV show was Friends. Marissa always found the best in everything and everyone! Marissa’s Family wants her to be most remembered as a beautiful, goofy, silly hearted, big eyed girl, laughing, smiling, joking and filled with life young lady. Visitation will be Tuesday, August 26, 2014 from 12:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Funeral services are being held Wednesday, August 27, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. both at Butler-Stumpff Funeral Home. 2103 East Third Street, Tulsa, Oklahoma. there's so many things i could tell you about Marissa,she was always smiling no matter what mood she was in. she was always so full of life , just seeing her smile and watching her and Omar hold hands and kiss on eachother in the hallways could most definitely make anyones day… i know that shes in a better place now but i guess i just cant escape that fact that shes gone and ill never hear that laugh or hear that smile again.😔 Rest In Paradise and fly high baby girl. love you lots. 😭
