Obituary

Marjorie Ann Shepherd was born in Tulsa, Oklahoma on October 15th, 1932 at St John’s Hospital. She was a devoted mother and housewife. Marjorie also worked as a bus aide for the Broken Arrow public school system for a short time. A job she very much enjoyed. Marjorie passed away March 16, 2015 at 8 a.m. at Southcrest Hospital in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Marjorie was preceded in death by her father and mother, Ambrose and Frances Frierson, her brother Monte L. Frierson, her husband Jimmy Ray Shepherd, and her son, Phillip Ray Shepherd. Marjorie is survived by her son Robert Shepherd and her grandson Jeffery Shepherd. Marjorie is also survived by her beloved brothers and sisters-in-laws: Charlie and Jean West, Gerald and Glenda Shepherd, Billie Shepherd, and a host of nieces and nephews. Viewing will be held at Christian-Gavlik Funeral Home, 222 W. Broadway Ave., Broken Arrow, OK, from 5:00pm-8:00pm, Wednesday, March 18, 2015. Funeral services will be held 1:00pm, Thursday, March 19, 2015 at Christian-Gavlik Funeral Home.
