Martha Elizabeth Taylor passed away in Tulsa, Oklahoma on November 12, 2017. She was born October 27, 1934 in Huntsville, Texas to Edward L. and Thelma L. Roberts.Martha retired from St. John Medical Center, where she helped found the Digestive Disease Center. She loved to help others discover a God of their own understanding. Martha recently celebrated her 37th year of sobriety. Traveling was something Martha loved to do, her favorite vacation spot was Sanibel Island, Florida to go shelling. Martha had many hobbies including World of Warcraft, Bridge, Reading and playing any game she could win. The three words that sum up her life are: Happy, Joyous and Free.Martha is preceded in death by her partner in life: Camilla Gaylor, mother: Thelma Roberts; father: Edward Roberts; cousins: Frank Roberts, Jr., Sally Sue Bevinton and Jacque Zulch.Survivors include her son: Ed Briner and daughter-in-law Lesa; daughter: Janet Mullowney; grandchildren: Elizabeth (Annie) Tidmore; grandson-in-law: Ian Tidmore and Riley Waid Sumter; great grandchildren: Bradley Tidmore, Ethan Tidmore and Anna Tidmore.In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to the charity of your choice in Martha’s name.
