Obituary
Martha Jane Henry Rowe passed from this life Friday, April 20, 2012. She is survived by her sister Norma Jean Peters, and children Kathy and Dave Watson, Paul and Pat Rowe, and Debie Rowe. She is also survived by 5 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild. She was preceded in death by her parents, Oscar and Nettie Henry, her twin sister, Mary Richardson, brothers J.E., Ossie, Roy, Carl, Bob, and James. She was also preceded in death by; her husband, Mitchell Rowe; son, John Rowe and her granddaughters Amber and Tiffany. Mitchell and Martha eloped to Arkansas December 13, 1952 because Martha was too young to marry. They were married 56 years before Mitchell’s death in 2008. Martha attended the University of Oklahoma and retired from the State of Oklahoma Department of Human Services after 26 years of loyal services. Martha was an avid gardener having inherited her mother’s knack for growing beautiful things. She loved to travel with her family in their motor homes, but her true passion was Nintendo with her grandchildren. She was loved for her quick wit, sense of humor, and her colorful use of language. Her grandchildren are Gene Watson, Tina Fleenor, Chris Marlowe, Mandie Bland, Brennan and Grayson Rowe.
