Mary Dell (Speer) Miller

March 26, 1949 - June 07, 2012

Mary Dell (Speer) Miller Born March 26, 1949 of Tulsa, OK Daughter of Clara Maude (Cleveland) (Speer) Driver and Marvin Haygood Speer. Passed from this life to eternal happiness in heaven on Thursday, June 7, 2012. Survived by husband of 42 years, James P. Miller II; son, Rev. J. Paul Miller III; granddaughters: Brooklyn A. Miller and Natalya R. Miller, all of Tulsa, OK. Mary was a church pianist, Sunday school clerk, supporter of several missionaries and Chi Alpha, a costume maker, and served the Lord in many church responsibilities. While serving in the Missionettes of the Assemblies of God, Mary encouraged four teenage ladies to “Honor Star” status and she was crowned an “Esther.” Her vacation stories with Jim, Paul, Brook, and Tally plus her shopping trips to Dallas with Judy and Doris are worth hearing over and over. She loved her children and she helped several while living in Sand Springs, OK. For the last 12 years she was a loyal employee at Arvest Bank and loved by many. She was a devoted Christian, a loving and caring Mom, a good friend, a strong wife, and a happy grandma. She lost her battle with breast cancer and is now in heaven having the time of her life with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. We will miss her.
