Obituary

“And thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind, and with all thy strength: this is the first commandment. And the second is like, namely this, Thou shalt love thy neighbor as thyself. There is none other commandment greater than these.” -Mark 12: 30-31 On March 18th, 1946 in the little town called Sandtown, Oklahoma, a precious angel was born to James Robert and Rosie (Grant) Reynolds who precedes her in death. Marzet was one of ten children. Three died at birth, along with three brothers and two sisters who preceded her in death: Willie Lee, Horace, Adolph (Uncle Pige), Clara Winters-Samuels, and Etta Mae Hamilton. On November 17, 201 God called another angel home. At an early age Marzet confessed her faith in Christ at the Sandtown Baptist Church. She also reflected a love as a pianist and a singer. Marzet and her sisters began a singing group “The Caravettes” and spread the gospel from state to state. Marzet later joined Greater Mountain Carmel Baptist Church. She loved children and worked as a childcare provider. Marzet met Percy Clemons to whom three beautiful children were born. Later, she united with Robert Tucker. To this union a beautiful daughter was born. Marzet laves to cherish her memory, her loving children Lisa Moore, and spouse Mario of Tulsa, Oklahoma, Victor Clemons and Miriam of Nashville Tennessee, Markcus Clemons and DeAnne of Shawnee, Oklahoma, and Felicia Moore and Elvin of Haskell, Oklahoma; One sister Dorothy Ratliff of Arlington, Texas; 19 grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, family, and friends. Please sign the guestbook and share a memory.

  2. To the Family Of sister Marzet Tucker. Again God and his Holy angels has stopped by our house to claim one of his own. I send my deepest condolences to let you all know that I am praying with you and for you. God does not make any mistakes. He saw that our dear beloved sister was getting tired. He wanted her to be happy, so he said it's time. Imagine the smile on her face. So I know that he met her with open arms and said well done my good and faithful servant. I'm sure her flight was spectacular and wow what a landing, for she is now safe in the arms of Jesus. We all loved her, but God loved her best. The Bible says that to be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord. So cry if you must, but just know that God has got your back. Weeping may endure for a night, but joy will surely come in morning. I can just see Etta saying sister you've got a leak in that old building and your soul is getting ready to move. What a reunion. My family will be continually praying for you and your family. Sincerely Doris Greene, Eric Golden
