Obituary
Maurice Dean “M.D.” Harrell, retired from American Airlines and a veteran of the Korean war, died on Saturday, January 15, 2011 at the age of 81. He was preceded in death by his wife Cleta Mae Harrell. He is survived by daughter Rhonda and James Davis, daughter Susan and Frank Jones, son Michael and Linda Harrell, four grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild. The funeral service is at 2:00 PM on Thursday, January 20, 2011, at Greater Heights Assembly of God, located at 6621 East Latimer Place, Tulsa, OK 74115, under the direction of Butler-Stumpff Funeral Home.

I remember Mr. Harrell from my childhood and have seen several of the Harrell kids over the years. We were all neighbors at one time. I am sorry at the passing of Mr. Harrell. My prayers will be with you all.

When we began attending Greater Heights Assembly, Mr. Harrell was one of the first people to greet us and make us feel welcome. He always had a kind word, a sweet smile and a warm handshake for everyone. We will miss him, but we rejoice knowing He is with the Lord.
