Obituary
Michael Rowell, a beloved son, brother, and cherished friend, passed away too soon on June 6, 2025, in Tulsa, Oklahoma, at the age of 57. He was born on October 12, 1967.
Michael was known for his uniquely funny spirit and his remarkable ability to make anyone laugh. He was dearly loved by his mother and brother, and though he had no children of his own, he was surrounded by a close-knit group of friends who became his chosen family. Michael’s presence brought joy and laughter to all who had the pleasure of knowing him.
He was preceded in death by his father, his uncle Donald Ray Burgess, his grandmother Pauline Francis Collins, and his grandfather Henry Clifford Burgess.
Michael is survived by his loving mother, Donna Patton, and his brother, Ted Rowell. He will also be deeply missed by his devoted friends and extended family, including Sue Arseneault; Reanna Phillips and her husband, Pookie Davito, and their children, Lauren and Landon; Max Essley; Jesse Essley; Amy Taylor and her son, Jett Rowell; Davis Gallion and his daughters, Shantana and Samantha Gallion; and Samantha’s children, Jerimiah, Essiah, and Cavoni.
