Obituary

Miriam Magdalene Clemens, 90, stepped into heaven on November 3rd at Clare House in
Tulsa, OK.
Miriam was born on July 19th,1933 in the Township of Tainter, Dunn County, WI to Maye Miriam
Muralt-Owen’s and Claude Lavern Owen’s Senior. She was one of four children. She dedicated
her life to taking care of and loving her children and grand-children.
Miriam was a strong Christian and loved the Lord with her whole heart. She attended Woodland
Acres Baptist Church in Tulsa, OK for many years. She was steadfast in her faith. She loved to
read her Bible. She prayed consistently. Her walk with Jesus was of the most importance to her.
Miriam enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren. She worked hard. She was a
good friend. She prayed for others. She was an animal lover. She enjoyed cooking and baking.
She enjoyed playing the piano and had the rare talent of being able to “play by ear”. She
enjoyed singing traditional hymns. She enjoyed walking and simply enjoying God’s creation
each day she was given on this earth.
She is preceded in death by,
Her parents, her sister, Bonnie Dillard; her brother, Sam Owens; her son, Robert Clemens; and
her daughters, Debbie and Linda Clemens. She is rejoicing with them in heaven.
She is survived by,
Her brother, Lavern Owens; her daughters, Susan Clemens and Mary Clemens; seven
grandchildren and several great grandchildren, and a host of other relatives and friends. We
know heaven is now her home, but she will be missed dearly.
