Memorial services with military honors for Mr. Gerald Ray Thomas will be held 2:00pm, Friday, July 29, 2022 at Butler-Stumpff & Dyer Funeral Home Chapel.

Gerald was born November 21, 1929 in Sand Springs, Oklahoma to Edward and Gussie Thomas. He served in the United States Marine Corp during the Korean War.

Gerald was employed by the United States Postal Service for 35 years.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Ruth Thorne Thomas; sons-in-law, Blu Gentry, Brian Edwards, Charles Cox; brother, Edward Thomas; sister, Elizabeth Thomas.

He is survived by his daughters, Cathy Cox (Robert Sanders), Laurie Morast (Grant); son, Paul Thomas; grandchildren, Valerie Dobbs (Joshua), Benjamin Gentry (Tess), Philip Edwards (Angela), Cara Cox; great-grandchildren, Landon, Logan, Luke and Amelia Edwards, Mason and Colton Dobbs; sister, Geraldine Rhoten.
