Obituary

Martin Edward Derboven, 79, of Sperry, Oklahoma passed peacefully June 18, 2022 with his loving wife by his side.

Funeral services will be held 1:00pm, Thursday, June 23, 2022, at Tulsa Gospel Assembly in Sperry, Oklahoma.

Martin was born in Moberly, Missouri, Randolph County, January 2, 1943 to Ernest and Ola Mae Derboven. His father was an immigrant from Belgium during the German invasion.

He attended school in Moberly and held several jobs over the years including hanging fence and working for the City of Tulsa. He also served in the United States Army and was stationed in Germany, guarding the Berlin Wall while it was being built.

Martin is survived by his devoted wife, Rosalind Derboven; brother, Eddie DeRigne and wife Pamela as well as a great host of nieces and nephews.
