Obituary

On March 15, 1964 in Tulsa Oklahoma a beautiful baby girl was born to the late George and Mary Foster: they named her Ola Faye. She attended Tulsa Public Schools and graduated from McLain High School in 1982.  Ola married Gregory Hope Sr, to this union four children were loved and reared. Ola loved children and made a career in early childhood education. Her last position was with the Palmer Women and Children Center. In her youth she attended St. Luke Baptist Church and later became a member of New Hope Baptist Church where she remained until death.

On July 14, 2018 Ola made her transition from earth to Heaven. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by siblings Lucy and Albert Livingston, Gary, George Jr., and Annette Foster.

Ola is survived by her children Greg Jr, Mitchell and Sicily Hope and LaShawn and Montel White; Grandchildren: Nahlah and Montel Jr. siblings: Elsie Dowdy, Mary Livingston, Charles and Edith Livingston, Wynonia and Claude Johnson Sr., Wyonia McNeil, William, Donnell, Lonnell, and Deborah Foster as well as a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

I see God called a beautiful strong black queen home and he knew from the day you was born into this life you was going to be the one to leave a spot in people lives that will bright up their day and you was a kind and sweet charming woman and when things was wrong you will be the one to fix them and you was a strong beautiful angel that fought this battle with cancer and God seen that and need you beside him to fight in his war and I want him to know he gained a good one and you will be truly missed cause I can say your not gone as love as are heart beat for you mama I love you and keep spreading the word in heaven amen love Rapheal Hamilton…………
