Obituary

For those in Tulsa who knew her, Onita Beard was truly one of a kind. She was the beloved wife of David Beard, owner of Beard’s Body Shop on North Denver Ave, and a dedicated respiratory therapist at Saint John’s Hospital near Utica Square for nearly 30 years.

Onita, or as many of us lovingly called her, “Nonnie,” was a true jewel-kind, strong, and full of grace. Her memorial and celebration of life will be held next Thursday at North Sheridan Church of Christ.
