Obituary

Patricia Ann Pittman, 86, was born in Tulsa, Oklahoma on October 25, 1934 to Horace Tipton and Mary Magdeline (Patterson) Griggs. 

Pat graduated from Central High School and soon after married Roy E. Pittman, Jr. on June 15, 1951. Patty was active in the United Methodist Church. She participated in United Methodist Woman, Little Lighthouse Ministries, sang in the choir and served at bean suppers. 

Pat was the caretaker of the family. She made sure doctor appointments were kept and kids were picked up from school. In her spare time Pat could be found picking up sweetgum balls, watching sports or reading a good murder mystery. 

She is survived by children: Michael Pittman (Karen), Robert Pittman (Kim) and Sharron Fuller (Ed); grandchildren: Justin Newton, Annie McGinnis (Lloyd), Tyler Newton (Sarah), Stephanie Catterson (Robert), Phillip Pittman, James Fuller (Courtney), Jennifer Beaty (Jeremy); great grandchildren: Julian, Tristan, Conner, Logan, Kayden, Mia, Evan, Anthony, Ally, Addison, Cameron, Emilia, Rutledge and Harrison. She is preceded in death by her husband, Roy; son, Stephen; sister, Dona and her parents.  

Visitation will be held Wednesday, November 18, 2020 from 1:00pm-5:00pm at Butler-Stumpff & Dyer Funeral Home. Funeral services will held 1:00pm, Thursday, November 19, 2020 at Butler-Stumpff & Dyer Funeral home Chapel. Interment will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery.
