Obituary

Patricia Louise Smith was born in Oakland California on August 3rd 1951 and passed at the
age of 73 on April 28th 2025 at Saint Francis Hospital in Tulsa Oklahoma. Terrance “Terry”
Dwight Smith and Patricia “Pat” Louise Smith were married on July 15, 1993 and were married
for 31 years. Pat leaves behind her two sons Mark and Jarod Williams. Jarod and his partner
Alicia Keese reside in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Mark and his wife Monica reside in Eureka Springs,
Arkansas. Pat also had a stepson Clayton and his wife Tricia Smith of Cleveland, Oklahoma and
stepdaughter Sky Whitt of Tulsa, Oklahoma. Pat had a love for dogs and adopted numerous
dogs from A.R.F, Animal Rescue Foundation. Pat leaves behind two fur babies Claxton and
Sadie.
Pat was lovingly adopted into the Ruth family. Pat grew up in San Francisco, California and at
the age of 17 moved to Sapulpa, Oklahoma. Pat graduated from Sapulpa High School in 1969
unknowingly attending the same school with her future husband Terry. Pat retired from DHS
after years and years of dedication to a cause that was close to her heart. Pat enjoyed traveling,
the San Francisco 49ers, cross-stitch, spending time with her fur babies, and being the
matriarch of her family. Pat was a truly wonderful person. Pat had numerous friends all
throughout the US, caring neighbors, and a loving family. Pat will be missed dearly and daily by
those who have had the pleasure of knowing her.
