Obituary

Revella was born June 20, 1922 in Okmulgee, Oklahoma and died May 28, 2008 in Tulsa, Oklahoma. She was born Revella Kellum to Annie B. Davis and Author Kellum in Okmulgee, Oklahoma and moved to Tulsa shortly after. She attended Tulsa Public Schools and graduated from Booker T. High School May 1942. She married Jewing A. Brinkley in December 1942 and born to that union were two daughters; Jewel Irene “Brinkley” Fisher and youngest daughter, Helene “Brinkley” Williams who preceded her in death July 1998. She leaves behind brothers and sisters and daughter, Jewel I. Fisher as well as grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and one great-great grandchild. She will be missed by a host of cousins and friends. Services will be at 11am Monday, June 2, 2008 at the St. Paul Trinity Church in Tulsa, Oklahoma and interment at the Rolling Oaks Memorial Gardens.
