Revena Gail Browne, 66, of Madisonville, Kentucky, passed away surrounded by the love of her family. Born in Madisonville, she lived a life marked by determination, faith, and a deep commitment to learning and service.
Revena was the devoted mother of her twin sons, Eric Browne and Michael Browne, whom she cherished beyond measure. Her family was her heart, and she poured her strength, wisdom, and unwavering love into every moment with them.
A woman of extraordinary perseverance, Revena was known as a prayer warrior, a teacher, a student, a preacher, and someone deeply devoted to her family. She carried a strong will and a steadfast faith that shaped every chapter of her life. Her calling to ministry and education guided her path, and she spent many years serving her community as a dedicated substitute teacher, always encouraging others to grow, learn, and believe in themselves.
Revena’s walk with God shaped her entire life. She was an evangelist at heart; determined, strong‑willed, and always ready to encourage, uplift, and pray for those around her. Her ministry was not confined to a pulpit; she ministered through her actions, her compassion, and her unwavering belief in God’s promises. She was deeply devoted to her family, and her faith guided the way she loved and cared for them.
Revena proudly served her country in the United States Army as an 88N Traffic Management Coordinator, embodying the same discipline and resilience that defined her life.
Her pursuit of knowledge was lifelong. She earned:
- a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Fayetteville State University (2007)
- a Ministry Fundamentals Diploma from Rhema Bible Training College (2017)
- a Pastoral Ministry Diploma from Rhema Bible Training College (2018)
- a Biblical Studies Diploma from Rhema Bible Training College (2020)
- a Master of Arts in Biblical Studies from Newburgh Theological Seminary (2023)
Revena’s legacy is one of faith, courage, and unshakeable devotion. She leaves behind a family who loved her deeply and a community forever touched by her strength and compassion.
