Obituary

Terry A. Tharp, 68 of Tulsa, Oklahoma passed away peacefully at his home on June 21, 2020.

Terry was born on October 2, 1957 in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma to William and Janice Faye Tharp.

 

Terry was a jack of all trades. He did contracting, coal mining, over the road truck driving, he was a mechanic, evangelist, security officer, and welder.  He always took care of his family and friends. There was nothing he couldn’t do. He might not have hung the moon but he told God where to put it.

 

Terry was preceded in death by his father, William L. Tharp; mother, Janice Faye Carroll; two brothers: Billie Lew Tharp I and J.W. Tharp; sister in law, Marjorie Tharp; sister, Donnis Faye Williams; and grandson, Andrew Harbour.

 

Those left to cherish Terry’s memory include his wife, Cynthia Tharp; grandson, Keaton Brophy daughters: Donnis Hendrix (Sammy J. Hendrix II) and Rickisha Tharp; siblings: Debra Biggs, James Tharp and David Wise (Ruth); grandchildren: Daniel Harbour, Devin Hendrix and his favorite granddaughter, Dusti Hendrix; along with countless nieces, nephews, and other loved ones.

  5. Terry was a great cousin, he was always willing to help any of us if needed, he was alot like his mom. Terry will be missed by many and will always be in our hearts ??. Love you cuz.
