Obituary
Robert James Foster, Jr. was born on September 20, 1955, at St. John’s Hospital in Omaha to Edith Barbara Jones and Robert James Foster, Sr. He peacefully passed away on February 13, 2026, in Cleveland.
Robert attended Booker T. Washington High School in Tulsa, where he was known as a bright and capable young man with a promising future. Following graduation, he proudly enlisted in the United States Marine Corps, serving his country with honor and dedication. After receiving his honorable discharge, Robert continued his education in Denver.
Robert built a successful career in space systems, ultimately working for Lockheed Martin. After many years of dedicated service, he retired and returned to Oklahoma, where he remained until he was called home to be with the Lord.
Meeting him at heaven’s gates is his father, Robert James Foster, Sr., mother, Edith Barbara Jones, sisters: Edna Priscilla Carter and Evangelist Mary E. Davenport; and brothers, George A. Easiley and Jerry J. Easiley.
He leaves to celebrate his life, his wife, Ida Padillow Foster of Cleveland, OK; son, Robert James Foster III; stepchildren: Alexander Mathis, Tikeya McCall, Orvell Padillow, LaRon D. Clark, and DeShell S. Padillow; brothers: Richard J. Foster, Melvin Easiley and William Carter; sisters: Barbara Robinson and Margaret Sue Easiley; along with a host of grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, friends, colleagues, and last but not least Carolyn Foster.
