Obituary

Robert Lee Ewton Sr. passed away in his home in Chouteau, OK on Tuesday, May 3rd, 2016.  He was born January 11th, 1937, the youngest child of Andrew Jackson Ewton and Emma Jane Heffley. 

Robert is preceded in death by his parents and sons, Phillip Ewton and Mark Ewton. He is survived by his son Robert Ewton Jr. and daughter Regina Wallington, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. 

Robert retired from the aerospace industry as a manager with Boeing. He enjoyed playing bridge, tending cattle, gardening, tinkering in his shop, eating hamburgers from Braum’s, laughing, and telling people to stop what they were doing right before they did it so that he could tell them to hurry up. 

He will be greatly missed, but we do not grieve as others who have no hope. 

Visitation will be held at Butler-Stumpff Funeral Home in Tulsa on Thursday, May 5th between 9am and 8pm. Funeral services will be held 1:00pm, Friday, May 6th at Butler-Stumpff Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow at Park Grove Cemetery in Broken Arrow.
