Obituary

Rose Lee Dunn, 76, left us on October 4, 2016 with her family by her side at St. John Hospital. Rosie was born August 28, 1940 in Tulsa, Oklahoma Jimmy and Geraldine Dunn. She attended and graduated from Booker T. Washington High School and attended two years of business school. Ms. Dunn took the role of a mother and homemaker to her only daughter, Cynthia Arlene Wilson. Her interests included her family, shopping, purses and perfume. She devoted much of her time and energy as a caregiver to the homeless and less fortunate throughout the Tulsa area. Her charm and smile would lighten any given moment. Rosie spent her last remaining years as a member of The Champion Center Church in the company of her daughter, brother, son-in-law and loving church family.Rose leaves behind to cherish her memory, daughter: Cynthia Arlene (Charles) Wilson; sister: Ruth Ella Dunn; brothers: Terry (Jenny) Dunn, Roy Lee Dunn, Paul (Vonda) Dunn, nieces: Glenitria Johnson, Rose (Chris) Gaiters, Terry Arington, Shanta (Brandon) Dunn, Cheryl Dunn, Erika Arington, Shamera Dunn, Kelly Dunn and Gabrielle Dunn; nephew: Rickey Dunn and a host of uncles, aunts and cousins.
