  3. Dad,

There are so many things I want to say to you that will be left unsaid. I will always remember you and carry you with me for the rest of my days. Though I don’t understand why your not here anymore I know you are now at peace and embraced with our loved ones who left before you. I will always remember your laugh and your humor. I will always remember you telling me, “Mejo you know why I love you so much, because you need one of these,” and you would tickle me. I will always remember how we would say to each other, “I love your fish eyeballs!” You would tell me all the time when I called you, “Son, your my hero,” but it really was the other way around. Dad you will alway and forever be my hero! I am so lucky to have had you as my dad. R.I.P dad, forever my guardian angel.

    Love you,
    Your son

  4. Tim says:

I have been blessed to be your son in law. Your smile will forever be with me. Life will definitely never be the same. Thank you for your blessing you gave me to have your daughter as my wife, she has made my life better beyond measure. I will never forget when I first met you and all the visits we would drive to see you. You gave us peace to know you were able to say you were happy in your final days. I will always love and miss you! RIP, I will never forget you and always smile when I hear Breton Woods sing the Oldies.
I look forward to seeing you again when my life on this earth is done.
    Always,
    Your son in law,
    Tim

  5. I've been hearing your voice in my head all day. I can't believe you are gone, but I know you are watching over us all. I have loved you since the first time I met you! You have always been the most welcoming, gentle, funny, and crazy person in our lives. We loved how excited you were everytime we called you and I loved how proud you were of all your family. I wish I could hear that laugh right now. I wrote you a poem lastnight thinking about what today would bring for all of us and I will share it below. I hope you know how much we all loved you and appreciated you. You would be so proud of Sophia today. She walked up to you to say "Goodbye Grandpa!". She was so brave. Everyone was so brave, but I know you were there today in spirit probably hoping we were partying for you lol. Anyway here's the poem I wrote for you below and I love you forever!

    Eternity

    Your laugh is eternal
    Your heart lives on forever
    You left us unexpectedly
    The pain we cannot measure

How we wish to see you smile
We would move time to hear your voice
But heaven needed you the most
    And now we must rejoice

See heaven only takes the best
I know this to be true
So while we mourn you here on earth
Know that we also celebrate you

    Missing you forever
    Until we meet again
Watch over us and don't forget
This life is not the end
