Obituary

Ruth Ann Rawdon, age 75, passed from this life on June 30, 2014 in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma. She was born on January 29, 1939 in Labany, Missouri to Tom J. and Rosetta (Johnson) Smith. Ruth worked most of her adult life as a housekeeper in the hotel business, a job she adored. Ruth will be dearly missed by all who knew her. She is survived by her children; Rebecca Bartley, Dale G. Anderson (Patricia), and Lorelei Furr. Two Grandchildren, Robert Blackburn and Blake Blackburn; Three Brothers, Bill Smith, Larry Smith, and Carl Smith along with numerous great grandchildren and other loving family members. Ruth Ann is preceded in death by her husband Luther Rawdon. Son, David Anderson; her parents; Brother Ron Smith; two sisters, Evelyn KleKamp and Peggy Williams; grandson, Robert Ray Anderson and nephew, Ted Smith. Visitation will be held Thursday from 5pm – 8pm and Saturday from 9am – 1pm at Butler-Stumpff Funeral Home. Funeral Services for Ruth will be held at 1:00pm Saturday, July 5th at Butler-Stumpff Funeral Home Chapel.
