Obituary

On August 11, 1957, a beautiful baby girl was born to Henry and Marie LeBlanc. They named her Sheretta Marie. She was born and raised in Tulsa and was the eldest of six children.She attended Orville Wright, St. Monica, Holy Family Catholic schools. She graduated from Central High School class of 1975. Following graduation she went on to attend Oklahoma State University were she was an active member of numerous school and community programs. She attended St. Monica and St. Augustine Catholic Church. Sheretta worked tirelessly from sunup to sundown and never hesitated to help others no matter what it cost her. She loved entertaining family and friends. She also helped, and generally ran the numerous family business ventures started by her father. Although she could be somewhat authoritative, she had the uncanny ability to achieve perfection in anything she was associated with. She retired from her job as a customer service representative for Verizon Wireless in 2013. Sheretta was an active member in the Greenwood Chamber of Commerce as well as several other local and state organizations to numerous to list. She loved modeling, white water rafting, hot air balloon rides, traveling and, most of all, participating in rodeo circuits in which she excelled a goat tying, calf roping and barrel racing to name a few. Sheretta was also a gourmet cook to the delight of her family.Following a long illness, Sheretta transitioned from this life into eternity on September 5, 2018.Sheretta is preceded in death by her parents: Henry and Marie and brother: Henry LeBlanc III (DeeDee). Those left behind to cherish her memory include her three bothers: Larry (Shirley) LeBlanc, Cardell LeBlanc and Jayson LeBlanc; one sister: Carnella LeBlanc all of Tulsa. She will be missed by her many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

  1. I would like to express my heartfelt sympathy to the family for the loss of your dear Sheretta. I hope that you will find comfort in the words of Jesus at John 5:28,29 where he promised that the day is coming when he is going to resurrect back to life those in the grave. And they will be brought back to a beautiful paradise earth with no more sickness. (Psalms 37:11,29)(Isaiah 33:24) May your family draw strength from Jehovah, the God of all Comfort.
