Obituary
Today, we come together to honor and celebrate the extraordinary life of Sheryce “Resi” Muse. Resi was not only a beloved daughter, mother, and guardian but also a gifted artist, entrepreneur, and compassionate advocate. Originally from Plainfield, New Jersey, she found her way to Tulsa, Oklahoma, where she cultivated a life filled with boundless love, strength, and resilience.
Resi was a true creative force, fearlessly pursuing her passions. Under the stage name Sacred, she mesmerized audiences with her remarkable skills as rapper. Resi also showcased her artistic abilities as a self-made hair braider, establishing her own business called Braids by Resi. Her entrepreneurial spirit led her to create The Fancy Stoner and Made by Resi, empowering others as a business consultant on their own journeys.
Family held an immeasurable importance in Resi’s life, and her love transcended all boundaries. She leaves behind three cherished children: Nyra Imani Muse, Domineek Muse, and Annyce Lynn Muse. Although her eldest son, David Muse, preceded her in death, his memory lives on through his daughter, Daila Muse, whom Resi lovingly cared for as her guardian. Resi was a cherished daughter to her living mother, Cheryl King, and a beloved sister to her two surviving siblings, Jamal Muse and Antoine Muse.
Resi’s legacy will forever inspire us to selflessly serve others, to pursue our dreams with unwavering passion, and to extend a helping hand to those in need. Her impact on our lives is a testament to the power of love, resilience, and compassion.
