Obituary

Visitation/A Final Goodbye for Mr. White will be held on Friday, May 31 from 1:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m., at Butler-Stumpff & Dyer Funeral Home, 2103 E. 3rd St., Tulsa, OK 74104.

Tharon Curtis White known to all his friends and family by Curtis Died peacefully at Clare House on May 6, 2024, at 2:50 am in Tulsa, Oklahoma at the age of 71. Surrounded by his daughter, grandchildren, and ex-wife.

Tharon Curtis White is survived by daughter, Stacy French (Oklahoma City, Oklahoma) , grandchildren LaQuanda French (Oklahoma City) and Matthew French (Fort Worth, Texas) and great grandchildren, sisters Marion Piece (Tulsa, Oklahoma and Lula Wisner- Johnson (Franklin Johnson) (Monroe, GA), brothers Kenneth Scott, Brandon Scott and Vincent Scott (Karen Scott) of Tulsa, Oklahoma, cousin-sister Joyce Warner-Edwards of California and a host of nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father Curtis White, mother Garcie Manning, brothers Bobby Manning and Archie Scott, and sisters Valencia Hadley, Sharon Williams and Charlotte Scott

Curtis was born on September 19, 1951, to Curtis White and Gracie Manning in Tulsa, Oklahoma. He graduated from Washington High School in 1969. He joined the Marines in 1970 and got an honorable discharge in 1971. He returned to Tulsa, Oklahoma where he lived until passed. He began working for Tulsa Public School driving the bus until he was disabled.
