Obituary
Thomas James Bean of Tulsa passed away September 15, 2006 in Tulsa Oklahoma. Born January 30, 1949 in Kansas City, Missouri to Emmit Bean and Mary (Morey) Bean. Thomas, a Vietnam Veteran entered the service August 18, 1969 with his highest rank of Specialist 4th class he received decorations of Combat Infantry Badge, Bronze Star Medal w/V Device, National Defense Service medal, Vietnam Service Medal, Vietnam Campaign Medal, Sharpshooter (Rifle) and separated August 17, 1971. Thomas was survived by his daughters, Melissa Kunz of Tulsa, Oklahoma; Samatha Bean of Bixby, Oklahoma and Angela Bean of Douglas, Kansas; his son Bobby Burrows of Allen, TX; and numerous grandchildren that he loved dearly. Thomas was buried September 20, 2006 in the Calvary Cemetery, 9101 South Harvard Avenue Tulsa, OK 74137. Condolences may be posted the guestbook located on this page. Tom, you were a great man and soldier. I never thought Aug31,1970, the day you patched me up would be the last day I would see you on God's green earth. Mike and I tried. May your memory be eternal.
