Obituary
Celebrating of the Life of Tracy Millette Bell The journey through this earthly life for Tracy Millette Bell began on August 23, 1967 in Tulsa, Oklahoma. She was a beautiful baby girl that was the answer to her older sister’s prayers as well as the eighth child born to Vermont and Martha Bell. Although she was the baby girl of the family, she immediately displayed a strong will, independence and captured the hearts of many with her outgoing personality. Tracy accepted Christ at an early age and was baptized at Ebenezer Baptist Church in Tulsa Oklahoma. As an adult she became an active member of New Heights Christian Center then later transferred her membership to Victory Christian Center where she remained until her death. She attended Alcott Elementary, Carver Middle School, Booker T. Washington and Raymond S. McLain High Schools. Tracy excelled in her professional endeavors and could reveal the beauty of anyone with her amazing gifts. As an entrepreneur, she was a true “go-getter” who took every opportunity to share her creative talents with people near and far. Tracy’s compassion for life and people poured into her work of doing hair and make-up as she loved to make others feel, and look beautiful. She was just as generous in giving lovely pieces of artwork from her ceramic artistry to family and friends. Her innovative baskets were a part of her contribution to the fundraisers that enabled us to come together as a family each year. Tracy remained committed to giving and bringing joy to others until her final days on earth. Tracy loved spending time with her family and devoted most of her time to caring for her children as well as grandchildren. She shared a special bond with each of her nieces, nephews, siblings and in-laws. Her presence was always known as she would joyously greet others with a huge smile, warm embrace and a clever nickname. Tracy was a major fan of music and she would not hesitate to make cd’s or turn up the “old school” jams at family gatherings to get people dancing. Her life was truly fulfilled by making others happy. Preceding Tracy in death is: her father, Vermont Bell as well as her maternal and paternal grandparents; Tracy leaves to forever cherish her precious memory; her children: Marcus, Michael and Myesha Bell, all of Tulsa Oklahoma; her mother Martha Bell, her siblings; Curtis Headspeth (Charlene); Ruth Bell of Dallas TX; Dale Bell (Laura) of Dallas TX; Clayton Bell (Valerie) of Atlanta GA; Michael Bell; Tony Bell (Glenda) of Salinas CA; and Craig Bell (Alisa); Her grandchildren; Daniel, David, Isaiah; Amarion and JaMichael, and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Condolences may be sent through the guestbook on this page.
