She met and married Byrl Foster, Sr. To that union, a happy bouncing boy named Byrl Foster, Jr. He was the joy of her life. Ginger actively followed Byrl Jr. as he played football. She was an active member of the class of 1968. She loved to travel-especially going on cruises, sewing, decorating her home, and loved music, all kinds of genres.
At an early age, she joined Shiloh Baptist Church. She was involved in all activities of the church. Virginia participated in in the Women’s Missions and Youth Ministry.
