Obituary

Wendell Wallace West affectionately called Pop Pop, died Monday, November 29, 2021, in Tulsa, Oklahoma at the age of 76.

Wendell was born to Viva Lenore Thompson West and Mark West on January 31, 1945, in San Diego, California.

He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother, Robert West and grandson, Andrew Day.

He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Agneta Mari West (Moomoo) of the home,

Three daughters,

Sherri and husband Michael Kelly of Fort Worth, TX,

Lisa Muro of Rancho Cucamonga, CA,

Robyn Freeman of Heber Springs, AR,

Grandchildren, Christopher West, Raymond Muro, Melissa Muro, Alicia Kelly, Samuel Freeman, Chloe Kelly, Patrick Kelly, Sean Kelly and great grandchildren, Sage Donaldson and Ronin Kelly,

Brother Mark West of Houston, TX,

Sister Roxie West Goddard of Costa Rica,

Aunt Luke from Mannsville, OK,

And a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends that span from the California to Arkansas,

Funeral Mass for Mr. West will be Saturday, December 11,2021 at 10: 00 AM at St. Pius X Catholic Church Tulsa, OK. With a Rosary at 9:00 a.m., all are welcome.

 A private burial will be in Mannsville, OK at a later date.

 Covid Restrictions will be observed.

  1. Robyn, I am so very sorry about your dad. I only met him a few times, but he was a very sweet man. My prayers go out to you and your family. 

  2. So sorry to hear of your loss. Although we have not seen Wendall recently we talk of the West's often. Rollie's mom was a sister of Wendall's father. We will keep Wendall in our prayers this week. Rollie and Janet Newman

    Wendell and I spent many happy hours growing up together. His father and my mother were siblings and we shared many a Thanksgiving and Christmas together. 
    He was a good Christian man – well loved and will be missed.
