Obituary

William Edward “Bill” Swafford, 93, passed away on June 27, 2018 in Tulsa, Oklahoma. He was born in Mulberry, Arkansas to the late Thomas & Alice (Riley) Swafford.

Bill was an Honorably discharged Veteran of the United States Army. He had a strong affinity of veteran’s organization and enjoyed bicycling in his earlier days. He loved his wife, Mary, very deeply and often spoke of her fondly. He missed her every day after her passing.

In addition to his parents and wife, Mary, Bill was proceeded in death by his sons, Charles K. (Keith) Swafford and Richard Swafford; two brothers and three sisters.

Bill is survived by his nephews, Earl and Jess Swafford and great-nieces, Connie Stanley and Lisa Medors

Family will receive friends from 5:00pm to 8:00pm on Thursday, July 5, 2018 at the Butler-Stumpff & Dyer Chapel.

Graveside services will be 1:00pm Friday, July 6, 2018 at the West Lawn Cemetery in Henryetta, Oklahoma.
