  1. Mrs. Brown and I worked together at McClure in the early 1980s. She almost instantly became a friend of mine. We shared tons of fun, laughter and hugs as we taught our much loved first grade students. Sometimes when she laughed, she would make me forget all of my troubles. Mrs. Brown was not only a beautiful person but she was one of the most accepting person I have ever worked with. I grew to love Mrs. Brown. Mrs. Brown thank you for all you did for me , RIP my friend. To the family may God bless you with his love and strength this sad time. I know you will miss her. Sherrye Hammons Braggs Charlot

  2. Our deepest sympathies on the loss of Winifred Brown. Please offer a favorite memory of Winifred on this memorial to share more of her life experiences with family and friends.

  3. Our heart felt sympathy goes to the Brown family. We will miss her kindness and humor. She was always the perfect hostess, whether you had seen her a week ago or a year ago she always made you feel welcomed in her home.

  4. David says:

Winnie & Carl are two extaordinary people who loved life and lived it well together. They waited hand and foot on my three sons, me, and their son Dave whenever we stayed at their Grand Lake home. The fed us, cleaned-up after us, and even cleaned our catfish. Our thoughts are now with Carl and his remaining family members. Winnie's legacy of living life well has inspired us all. – Dave Hough

  5. Kathy, Larry and Family, Although I never met your mother I feel that I knew her through you. You have many memories that will be cherished by each of you. Kathy you and I shared a lot while I was at Lincoln and we both knew this time would be here. God is here with you and remember to rely on Him. I love you both. Janell and John.
