On September 10, 1997 a handsome baby boy was born to Dietra Wilson and Xavier Wilborne Sr, whom became known to all as XJ.  He was the youngest and the second oldest child of seven chidren born to his parents.

Xavier (XJ) was a true gift to the family. Spoiled by many and loved to be catered to. He was an old soul, very funny and smart beyond his years. The people who met him would say he had been here before.

At an early age along with his family XJ attended Full Gospel Outreach Ministries.

Xavier was enrolled at Mama Collins Learning Center and was featured as their “Dawn to Dust Child”. He later attended Tulsa Public Schools and graduated from Will Rogers Early College High in 2016. He played football and was selected as Defensive Player of the year as a senior.

Xavier tried his hand at different jobs, mastering many tasks and landing a job as a delivery driver at Amazon Prime.

You would always catch him joking around and snapping pictures making memories with his friends. As a Big brother to 3 younger brothers he would be known as a lecturer, While being tortured by his big brother. His favorite saying to his sisters was “ is one of y’all free?” And to his Aunties “I’m about to pull up”. Xavier had an exceptional time growing up in his family and happy to be an uncle to his only nephew,  Darius “D2”.

He passed from this earthly world on November 22, 2024. XJ was preceded in death by his grandmothers, Ivy Liggins and Brenda Bell; one uncle, Richard Liggins Jr.

He will be truly missed by his parents, Dietra Wilson and Xavier Wilborne, Sr; siblings, DeMeco, DeMarco, Xaviona, Nykolas, Xailen and  Xaveri; only nephew, Darius II; aunts, Rissa, Shalonda, Regina, Tamica, Quitta, Katy and Shermita; uncles Randall and Seymour along with a host of cousins, other relatives and friends.

  1. No words will ever be comforting enough. I pray you somehow find a bit of comfort each day -that you smile each time you think of XJ.
My greatest sympathy to you Deitra.
