Obituary

Clarence Leo Wright was born January 19, 1928 in Camas, Idaho. He was the only child of Thomas Leo Wright and Esther Lerenia Hardcastle. Esther remarried to Rulon Yearsley he then became big brother to Roy and Faye Yearsley. He joined the army in May of 46 and served three years, as an AP & Engine mechanic. He was able to advance to the rank of Sgt. Then he met and married the love of his life of 66 years, Patsy Ruth Miller on the February 4, 1950. She had two sons, Dennis and Wayne DeCamp. Pat and Clarence had two sons, Clarence Jr., Dale, and a daughter Becky. Throughout his life he worked at American Airlines for 32 years. He was a Nondestructive Testing Instructor. Clarence became a Master Mason in 1966. He was also a TV repairman for 32 plus years. He served as a coach or assist. Coach in baseball for his sons and also helped with his grandsons. He also was Becky’s Coach for several years in softball. He loved to go home every other year and go mountain trout fishing. He also loved to go deer hunting.  Anyone who knew him knew he loved to play games. He was really good in gymnastics too. He could do back flips all day long. He was preceded in death by his parents Thomas and Esther, his step-father Rulon Yearsley, sister Faye, infant son Clarence Jr., Step son Wayne and his wife Janice DeCamp. Granddaughter, Tonya Newkirk, her son his great grandson Austin Bruner, and his second son Dale Wright. He is survived by his step son Dennis and his wife Joan DeCamp, daughter-in-law Erica Wright, daughter Becky and her husband David Myers, 12 grandkids, 25 great-grandkids and 14 great great grandkids.
