Preplanning Online - Safe and Convenient
What is pre-need? What does it mean to pre-plan a funeral service?
Life is a series of milestones. Milestones we mark, honor and celebrate. The birth of a baby, the graduation of a child, a wedding, a retirement.
Losing a loved one brings sadness and grief. It is also another milestone that brings us the opportunity to celebrate that special person.
A thoughtful, pre-planned funeral or cremation service can do just that, and bring comfort to family and friends as well.
If you’ve ever asked yourself any of these questions, then you’re like most people.
- Why should I have a funeral ceremony?
- Why would I be cremated? Can I still have a funeral or ceremony if I am cremated?
- What do I want the experience to be like for my loved ones?
Rest assured, there are answers.
We’re here to help you learn about and take care of a majority of these decisions ahead of time. Before you need to — hence the name, “pre-need.”
You can count on us to help you pre-plan, taking out all the guesswork, bringing greater peace of mind to you and your loved ones.

Please consider arranging a meeting with our on-staff advanced planning specialist.
Our specialist will explain the process in detail. For example, when you pre-plan, you can document your biography for your obituary, and choose whether you want to buried or cremated. Perhaps you’re a veteran and would like a celebration of life reflecting your service. If you’re an animal lover, you can even specify donations made to a local shelter in your honor.
Also, if you outlive your money and need Medicaid funds to pay for long-term care, an irrevocable funeral pre-plan is a legitimate “spend down” item. The funeral plan is safe, and those funds are not held against you in the asset calculations needed to qualify for benefits.
Of course, you can plan your funeral without pre-paying too.
Your funeral should be a celebration of your unique life. Take control now and choose how you’ll be remembered.
