What a beautiful lady. I met Mrs. Hula in 1996. She allowed me to be an intern under her at Central Elementary. She was a great educator and I learned so much under her. Prayers to her family. Heaven is receiving the finest of ladies.

I had Mrs. Hula as my second grade teacher at Angus, it was the first year it was open and Mrs.Hula was my favorite teacher. She taught me sign language and protected me from bullies. She was the first teacher to tell me I could be anything I wanted to be and not let people tell me I couldn’t. Mrs. Hula is one of a handful of teachers that I have often thought of because she treated me with respect at such a young age, and I actually enjoyed being in her class and enjoyed school. I have tried to live up to what she told me often was that I am someone with a great gift and I can use it for good. I am and I thank her so much for treating me with kindness, for letting me know that education was a wonderful gift, and to always treat others the way you would want to be treated. Thank you Mrs.Hula for everything, you will truly be blessed. Prayers for the family, friends and students she had. Thank you God for letting a wonderful woman have the bravery to uplift students to trying to fulfill their gifts for good and that anyone could be whatever they dreamed of being and don’t let anyone tell you that you can’t. God Speed Mrs. Hula??😢
