Obituary

Barbara Ann Thompson, 67, of Tulsa, Ok went home to meet her Lord and Savior and to be with her loved ones who went home before her on Tuesday, June 16, 2015. Barbara was born in Tulsa, Ok to Floyd and Frances Miller on May 13, 1948. Barbara was an amazing mother, grandmother, daughter and friend. She was always beautiful, inside and out, and she had a heart so big that there’s was always room for everyone she met. She always made sure her loved ones knew they were loved, and that she was always there for them. Barbara was momma and grandma to many more than her natural children. She always had open arms, an open home and an open heart. In addition, Barbara enjoyed big family get togethers, for which she would always cook the biggest, best meals and desserts that you could ever hope for with a house full of family and friends. During her life, Barbara shared a marriage and the raising of two wonderful boys with Eddie Brizendine Sr. Barbara was preceded in death by the love of her life, Butch Thompson, her son, Johnny Ray Brizendine, a baby girl that was lost at birth, her father, Floyd Miller, her mother, Frances Miller and two grandchildren Cassidy and Cameron. Barbara is survived by sons Charles Miller, and wife, Debbie Miller, James Pruitt, and wife, Debra Pruitt, Eddie Brizendine, Richard Anderson, John Wolf, Phillip Thompson Jr., Brian Thompson, D.J. Thompson, Brent Thompson and Keith Thompson. She is also survived by daughters Pammy Drehos, Missy Gonzales, Leanna Johnson, and Starla Daniels. Also surviving Barbara are 73 grandchildren, Christina, Seth, Casandra, Krystal, Cameron, Decoda Jami, Vestina, Cheyanne, Gina, J.T., Johnny Jr., Micheal, Kinzie, Marissa, Jonathan, Charles Jr., Shawn, Ashley, Ranee, Autoria, Lucille, Scott, Heather, Lauren, Richard Jr., Dakota, Ashlyn, Mary Jane, Chelsea, Nathaniel, Nicholas, Carlea, Phillip III, Christopher, Jessica, Zachary, Brandon, Destiny, Allison, Caleb, Kaitlynn, Veronica, Nasaria, Jolena, Joe Jr., Sonia, Yolonda, Joseph, Wesley, Mariah, Dakota, Connor, Ashlynn, Cierra, Shane, Alyha, Christopher, Matthew, Gage, Noah, Lilly, Landon, Ezekiel, Lazerus, Alyssa, Cameron, Kaylee, Kenzie and Molly, Wendy Sue, Ben and Junior. Barbara is survived by 24 great grandchildren as well, Emily, Phoebe Theron, Kody, Kaedan, Kynzy, Ravyn, Isabella, Winter, Aiden, Scarlet, April, Adrianna, Brianna, Aubriann, Elijah, Gabriel, Hazel, Caylynn, Ezia, Carlito and Elija.

  2. I love you Grandma Barbara more than you will ever no. I'm sorry I didn't visit you as much and didn't make time to talk to you more. I did always think about you when it came to doing family things together. You are my hero grandma. You were an amazing woman and you fought hard to take care of everyone even those who weren't blood. I decided to go back to school for medical assisting with you in mind. I love you and will miss you more than I can express. I wasn't ready to say goodbye but I know you're no longer suffering and no longer in pain. Fly High beautiful Angel. Tell our family we said hello and will see them soon.
