Obituary

Carolyn Ann Crawford was born August 26, 1950 in Tulsa, Oklahoma to the parents of Wilma Roberts and Morris Shipp. She loved the Lord and accepted Christ at an early age and was baptized at Greater Union Baptist Church under Reverend D.C. Cooksey.

Carolyn attended Tulsa Public Schools where she graduated from Booker T. Washington High School with the class of 1969. Shortly after graduation, she began working at DA-Pro Rubber. Carolyn enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, they were her pride and joy. She also loved playing pool and spades while taking names and talking trash.

Carolyn was a loving and devoted mother of Kevin Jackson (Toby), Angela Robinson (Elbert), and Pamela Jackson (Lee). She had two sisters, the late Mary Crosslen (Samuel) and Juanita Fox (Elmer), which she loved dearly. She was preceded in death by her mother, Wilma; father, Morris, and sister, Mary.

She leaves to cherish her memory: 16 grandchildren; Taylor, Cameron, Malia, Omari, Malik, Matthew, Markus, D’Angelo, James, Myah, Elbert III, Ashley, Lucas, Edrieona, Alexis, Mignon, as well as a host of great-grandchildren and other extended family members and friends.
