On October 18th, 1957, a solider entered this world to Luvenia Cato and Roselle Miles in Tulsa, Oklahoma. He received the name Edgar Lee Cato later Sr.

At an early age, Edgar joined Pentecostal Church and Christ. Edgar attended Tulsa Public Schools and graduated from McLain High School in 1975. After graduating High School, Edgar worked for various companies until he made the best decision for himself and growing family to join the Military. He served with a passion as a Medical Specialist for the US Army for several years before being Honorably Discharged. Edgar also loved cooking, football, and represented his team, The Steelers with all his heart.

Edgar met Bridget Sellers growing up on 52nd St. and it was love at first sight. Within their union, they welcomed four children, Sherona Cato, Darwana Cato, Gail Cato, and Edgar Cato. Later in life, Edgar also welcomed his son, Xavier Lee, and baby girl, Stephanie Willams. This would complete his legacy.

Greeting him at the Pearly Gates of Heaven is his mother, father, grandson, and a host of aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Those who are left to honor his legacy are his children, Sherona Cato, Darwana Cato, Gail Cato, Edgar Cato, Xavier Lee, and Stephanie Williams. His Brothers: James Wilson, Leonard (Jacqueline) Cato, and Michael Cato. His sisters: Brenda Cato, Carolene Cato, and Tracie McGuire.
