Obituary

Jewell C. Austin was born May 7th 1932 in Clarksville, Texas to Ollie and Mae Sue (Crawford) Austin. She attended public school in Texas where she later met and married Harold Austin Sr. and to this union 4 children were born. She worked at St. Francis Hospital in Tulsa, Oklahoma for 20 years until she retired. She studied with The Kingdom Hall and has been a member for 20 years. She had strong faith in the Lord and was a faithful member until her health failed her. Her mother and father preceded her in death. She leaves to cherish her memory; a sister Mae Sue Moore of OKC, OK; her four children, Harold Austin, Jr. of Tulsa, OK., Pam LaNeir of Denver, CO., Victor Austin, and Chrysantha Austin both of Tulsa, OK. Nine grandchildren and fifteen great-grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, family and friends. The family of Jewell Austin would like to take this time to say thank you to those who gave kind act’s of telephone calls, food and prayer. Thank you and may you be blessed. Services will be held 11:00 am ~ Thursday ~ October 11, 2007 at Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witness 2626 N. Lewis Ave. Graveside services will be 2:00 pm ~ Friday ~ 10-12-07 at Cedar Hill Memorial Park in Ft. Worth, Texas.
