Obituary
John Aubrey Neil, 87, of Tulsa, Oklahoma passed away peacefully July 27, 2016. He was born in Tulsa, Oklahoma on May 16, 1929 to A.B and Mabel (Campbell) Neil.
John was a loving, honest and hardworking man that will truly be missed by all who knew him. He leaves a legacy behind that is admirable. His sense of humor, his garden and his love of fishing are a few of his many treasures.
John his survived by his beloved wife, Sadie Lou (Shotwell) Neil; children, Mike Neil and Cindy Acord and her husband, David; grandchildren, Amanda Rice and her husband, Brad, Andrew Patterson and his wife, Emily, Heather Haeberly and her husband, Joe, Katrina Neil and Alexis Neil; great grandchildren, Aubrey, Brayden, Carter, Jude and Sadie.
He is preceded in death by his parents, A.B. and Mabel Neil; siblings, Ronald Neil, Mary Sue Jones, Helen Bear and Billie Hampton and his grandson, Michael Neil.
Visitation will be held, Saturday, July 30, 2016 from 5:00pm-7:00pm at Butler-Stumpff Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held, 10:00am, Monday, August 1, 2016 at Butler- Stumpff Funeral Home with interment taking place at 1:00pm, at the Fort Gibson National Cemetery in Fort Gibson, Oklahoma.
