HINES, John “Big John” Henry, Jr. 52, died on December 24, 2009, in Tulsa, OK. He was born on August 6, 1957, to John Henry and Ellen Jane (Green) Hines. He worked in automotive towing. He is survived by sons: John Hines III (Lakisha); Jake Cole; Justus Beach; daughters: Autumn Cole; Donna Kay Cole; numerous grandchildren; siblings: Taunia Green; Azellia Burkhalter (Garnett); Diannia Ballard (Lee English); Robert Charles Hines; Emma Asberry; Karen Hines; Kentoria Hines; Michael Hines; Lamar Hines; Michelle Hines; Lisa Cain (Joe); Nicole Hines; Kim Hartell. He is also survived by honorary sisters: Janetta Gill and Des McBee. He was preceded in death by his mother, Ellen Jane Hines and brother, Tony Hines. Viewing will be at Butler-Stumpff Funeral Home, 2103 E. Third St., Tulsa, OK, on Wednesday, December 30, from 12:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, December 31, 2009, at Antioch Baptist Church, 110 E. 56th St. N, Tulsa, OK, with Reverends Herbert Hardman and Cornelious Potter officiating.
