Obituary

Joseph W. Beck, 80, of Tulsa, Oklahoma passed away on the evening of December 31, 2021. He was born on February 19, 1941 in Denison, Texas.

Joseph served in the US Army as a sharpshooter and a rifle man in his younger years. He was a truck driver by trade for most of his life. He had an unwavering love for God throughout his life. He loved and adored his sister Colleen, all of his children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. He enjoyed western movies and TV shows, cowboy hats and boots, moccasins, and black coffee…Don’t you dare try and add cream and sugar, otherwise be prepared for “the look”. Joseph had an infectious laugh that would make you want to laugh with him. He had life stories that would engage you and leave you wanting to hear more. He will be dearly missed by all that knew and loved him. Joseph was preceded in death by his mother and father, brother, daughter Donna Chambers and her son Aaron Chambers. He is survived by his sister, Colleen, his son’s, Joseph and Joshua, daughters: Alvolena, Aldena, Gayla Michelle, Melody Marie, Yessy, and Stephanie (Gopher) – his “baby girls” that’s what he called us, many grandchildren and great grandchildren, his close companion of over 30 years, Diane Thompson and her daughter, Christina, and many ‘adoptive’ son’s and daughters over the years.
