Later in life she relocated to Tulsa, Oklahoma and from marital unions Marva had 5 amazing children Ruby, Colleen, Ray, David, and Rose. She has been a member at both St. Augustine and St. Monica Catholic Church for many years. Marva’s
children describe her as a beautiful, funny, sassy, and feisty lady. Marva was a wonderful mother, aunt, grandmother, great grandmother and friend
always there when needed. All that knew Marva would tell you she had a smile that would light up any room. She loved company, family gatherings and sharing stories about her childhood years in Mississippi. Marva loved music, dancing and singing to old school jams including her favorites Al Green and James Brown. She was always the life of the party.

“Aunt” Marva was my Mom’s very best friend. They were close since they were young girls in Bay St. Louis. She was a wonderful woman, always cheerful and gave the best hugs. She truly lit up our lives. We appreciate her and honor her memory.
